Our Services
Care Assessment and Management
We assess our clients and tailor a package of care to meet their unique needs and aspirations.
We also weigh up any risks inherent in the provision of care services and design solutions to mitigate them. We then monitor the service and receive regular feedback to ensure it is achieving the client’s aims and is delivered to the high standard they expect.
As part of our assessments, we may refer our clients to specialist personnel or agencies.
Provision of Home Care
Our caregivers are trained and experienced professionals who support our clients with a range of home care services.
These include: personal hygiene and toileting; assistance to mobilise and complete transfers; administration of medication; meal preparation; laundry and housework; and food shopping.
For your safety and security all LEC Care Solutions staff are carefully vetted prior to engagement and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Chaperone Services
We support our clients to maintain their regular activities outside of the home by accompanying them to appointments, social and religious events, and recreational outings. Our team can also chaperone and assist clients as a travel companion on vacations locally and abroad.
Day Care Services
In addition to meeting our clients’ needs for support with their personal hygiene and meals, our day care services help to: reduce social isolation; improve psychological and physical health; boost self-esteem; benefit caregivers.
Activity Centre
This is a place where our clients stay active and engaged by participating in a variety of group and individual activities such as physical exercise; music therapy; foreign language courses; horticulture; debates and current affairs discussions; spiritual care; arts and craft; and life story work.
Our clients are also able to access complementary therapies and spa services including massages, aromatherapy, manicures and pedicures at the centre.
Befriending Service
For clients who may prefer it, we can provide caregivers to engage in activities with them in their home.
In that way they are able to benefit from physical, social and mental stimulation.
Specialist Days
As part of our mandate to help our clients live wholesome, healthy lives, we organise special one-day events where they can interact with and learn from experts and each other on a range of topics that interest them. These include: Preparing for life after retirement; Will writing; Dementia awareness; Visual and hearing impairment awareness; Foot care for diabetics; Strategies to enjoy optimal nutrition; and many more.
Support for Caregivers
Caring for a loved one can be as challenging as it is rewarding. That’s why we have a Caregivers’ Support Group where caregivers can share their experiences. We also provide psychological and emotional help to lighten their load and empower them to keep being and giving their best.
Transitioning into Residential Care
When continuing to live at home is no longer practicable or safe, we work with our clients and their families to identify a suitable residential home, liaise with the staff there and take the necessary steps to ensure our clients enjoy a seamless transition to their new abode.
We carry out follow-up visits after admission to make sure all parties are satisfied with the quality of care being provided.
If required, we can also assist our clients and their loved ones to consider, discuss and prepare for end of life care.
